Barokah hidup dalam Qiyamullail

Itulah motto hidup Ustadz Abdul Aziz Abdul Rauf, Lc, Al Hafidz selaku Rektor LTQ Al-Hikmah Jakarta saat mengisi kajian mabit MBM tentang Urgensi Qiyamullail, pada hari jum'at tanggal 13 Januari 2012 yang lalu di MBM STAN. Kemudian sepertiga malamnya dilanjutkan Qiyamullail yang diimami oleh ust. Sunarso yang merupakan Imam Masjid Baitul Maal dan juga merupakan Alumni STAN.

Qiyamullail adalah suatu bentuk hubungan istimewa antara manusia dengan Rabbnya, Allah SWT. Manusia itu secara alamiah membutuhkan Qiyamullail, karena Qiyamullail adalah suatu representasi akidah, sejauh apa kedekatan manusia dengan Rabbnya, dan terbentuknya Quwwatun Nafs (kekuatan jiwa). Quwwatun Nafs itulah yang menjadikan manusia ditolong oleh Allah dalam urusan-urusannya.
 
Kajian kali ini tidak terlepas dari QS. Al Muzzammil. Dari QS. Al Muzzammil ini berbagai pelajaran Allah perlihatkan:
  • Prinsip ideal saat dilakukannya qiyamullail adalah bahwa lakukan aktifitas sekuat-kuatnya, jika memberatkan maka lakukanlah walau sedikit atau sebentar.
  • Manusia pada hakikatnya adalah lemah, ia tidak berdaya dengan rasa kantuknya, rasa perutnya yang lapar membuat tidak konsentrasi atau kenyang yang membuat malas. Tapi ketika ia memaksa dirinya dengan melawan kelemahan-kelemahan dalam dirinya untuk niat QL, mengikuti seruan Allah, maka Allah lah yang akan memberi manusia itu sebuah kekuatan jiwa. Jangan menunggu kapan tubuh kita siap dan kuat untuk melakukan qiyamullail, tapi bangkitlah, lakukanlah qiyamullail maka Allah yang akan memberimu kekuatan jiwa hingga raga pun mengikuti.
  • Memaksa diri untuk melakukan qiyamullail harus dalam proses yang masih wajar, jika tidak memungkinkan lagi maka dianjurkan untuk beristirahat dahulu. Beberapa yang bisa dilakukan agar kuat qiyamullail yakni tidur siang, jangan terlalu banyak makan, usahakan makan malam sebelum magrib agar saat menjelang tidur makanan sudah dicerna lambung, dan jaga kondisi agar tidak terlalu letih.

Terakhir, pesan Ust Abdul Azis Abdur Rauf yang dapat kita jadikan landasan dalam setiap amalan, kebanggaan dihadapan Allah sebenarnya adalah ketika kita istiqomah melakukan amal itu (amal yang berkesinambungan) hingga akhir hayat kita. Selamat ber-Istiqamah dalam setiap amlan.

, we are dealing with metaphysical bafflegab. The terms yin and yang are metaphysical bafflegab terms. Please desist from putting words into my mouth, and learn to read with discernment. My argument is actually that cocoa is bitter, and peanuts are not, and chocolate is a stimulant,whereas peanuts are not. Bitter and Sour flavours are associate with yang (in Wu Xing theory, or as the semi literate refer to it, Five Elements theory). Though I began with the commercial products, in all of their highly processed forms, I quickly retreated from that, because the processed forms do not offer answers as shown by the arguments against my explanation. Their is an extensive range of materials that can be considered peanut butter and chocolate, though in this situation we are dealing with the most modified of commercial products, as this question would not be asked unless their is an association, and the association usually presented is the commercial one of peanut butter cups. However, to ascertain a less biased answer, I actually took it back to base ingredients, since the commercial products are both sweet, and therefore neither yin nor yang. Colour had nothing to do with my reasoning. More evidence of the correlations: peanuts are used as bar food, whereas chocolate is not. Drunkeness is a state of unbalanced yang, induced by the input of additional yang energies. Peanuts are there to counter this, bringing one closer to a state of harmony, and therefore yin.The assoication of chocolate with females is actually counterproducti ve to the claim that it is yin. The natural ideal state is to be in a state of balance. Females have a greater tie to chocolate, but the evidence is that is the case because it is somewhat of a male replacement (it causes the release of similar hormones etc). Much like the peanuts countering the excess forces of yang that is drunkeness, the limitless yin of the female is offset by chocolate by bringing them closer to harmonious balance. Ergo, chocolate must be yang to achieve such a state of balance. One could also argue that what we are dealing with are a type of chocolate (one modified by a filling), rather than a type of peanut butter (which has been modified by another ingredient). This puts the peanut butter in a subordinate position to the chocolate in this situation. Since chocolate is dominant (one eats peanut butter and chocolate together when one is looking to eat chocolate, not when one is looking to eat peanut butter), it must be yang in this situation.
